Quality Control Officer

Are you an enthusiastic person with a can-do attitude and a willingness to learn? This company is seeking an experienced quality control officer who is looking for a full-time position and to join a well established company with over 50 stores in Australia and New Zealand. 

Job description

  • Check all delivery items to ensure they meet quality standards
  • Work with the despatch team to ensure accurate product pieces are selected for delivery
  • Assist in the preparation of customer items before delivery
  • Report and update products and make amendments to the database as required 
  • Ensure all checks are registered for items that require further attention to meet quality standards
  • Ensure any issues are recorded for analysis and reported to management
  • Work with the DC manager to improve and maintain the quality of the product handling in the warehouse

To Be Successful

  • Precious experience in furniture polishing is highly favourable 
  • Exposure to supply chain and/or quality assurance process
  • Ability to work in a fast paced environment
  • Strong attention to detail and organisational skills 
  • A forklift license is highly regarded 
  • Can do attitude and willing to learn
