Description
- Identify and research new and existing customers across Australia.
- Set up promotions with retailers to increase product exposure and sales volume.
- Review and optimise retail product ranges in collaboration with the Country Manager and Marketing Manager.
- Negotiate and finalise business deals with buyers, planners, and category managers from leading retailers to secure long-term contracts and partnerships.
- Identify and secure business opportunities, focusing on innovative applications for Velcro products.
- Collaborate with the Country Manager, Global SBU management, and Marketing Manager to design and market new retail product ranges.
- Manage and grow consumer retail markets, constantly seeking to generate new business.
Profile
- Proven track record in account management, adept at cultivating existing client relationships and identifying new business opportunities.
- Deep understanding of the consumer retail industry, with experience selling to buyers, category managers, and planners.
- Skilled in negotiating and closing projects with headquarters and stores, including successful range reviews and promotions.
- Experience with distribution management is a big plus.
- Demonstrates soft skills such as open-mindedness, analytical thinking, professionalism, and a strong drive for sales.
- Residing in the Melbourne area and possessing full working rights
