Payroll Assistant

The largest Australian owned company in their field is seeking a Payroll Assistant/Accounts Allrounder to assist the team in their Penrith office which houses over 40 people. You will play a crucial role in assisting the accounts team with payroll, timesheet approvals, month-end balance, invoicing and AP functions. 

Responsibilities: 

  • Assist with the payroll 
  • Petty cash
  • Reconciliations
  • Assist with obtaining the timesheet approvals
  • Ensure the jobs are correct/cross checking
  • Accounts Payable
  • Invoicing & basic AR – collecting
  • Reports
  • Month end
  • General ad hoc duties

Qualifications and Experiences:

  • Proven experience as an accounts/ payroll assistant
  • Strong organisational and time management skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Experience using Excel and other Microsoft products
