Based in the Hills district, we have an exciting opportunity for a mature minded, experienced Accounts Receivable/Payable/Administration Officer to join this Australian owned, growing company.
Key Accountabilities:
- Invoicing and chasing outstanding accounts
- Records and database management
- Managing phone calls and email correspondence
- Customer service – liaise with and build relationships with clients, suppliers and contractors
- Responding to customer queries and proactively managing queries.
- Paying invoices, including GST, and recording all payments
- Management of uniforms and stocktake
- Coding in the ledger
- Monthly reporting and remittance advise
- Responding to queries from suppliers, customers and staff
- Managing the CPI increases
- Responding to customer queries and proactively managing issues
What will you need:
- Previous experience in a similar role
- Strong attention to detail
- Knowledge of accounting principles and accounts payable processes
- Ability to work independently
- Strong organisational skills and the ability to multi task
- Experience in using Microsoft Excel and accounting software such as XERO and ERP systems
- Clear, open communication skills
- Previous experience within a blue collar industry would be advantageous
- Positive attitude with a willingness to do other duties within administration as well as accounts work
