A leading food manufacturing company is seeking a Trade Qualified Fitter to join their growing team located in Western Sydney playing a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of the manufacturing facilities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform mechanical maintenance tasks, including troubleshooting and repairs.
- Carry out planned and preventative maintenance tasks.
- Conduct installations and assist with general maintenance as needed.
- Provide mechanical support to the production teams.
- Utilise problem-solving skills to efficiently fault find and repair breakdowns with confidence.
Qualifications:
- Trade qualification as a Maintenance Fitter
- At least 3 years experience, preferably in a high-speed packaging environment within Pharmaceuticals, Food, Dairy or other FMCG industries.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- FULL WORKING RIGHTS: PR OR AUSTRALIAN CITIZENSHIP ONLY
The role will be Day shift, working Monday to Friday with Overtime Opportunities.
