Are you passionate about the trucking industry and skilled in building and maintaining customer relationships? We are seeking a dedicated and customer-centric individual to join our team as a Senior Customer Liaison Officer. In this role, you will play a crucial part in engaging with potential new customers, following up on leads, addressing customer issues, and providing exceptional service in the field of truck repairs and servicing.
Responsibilities:
- Communicate effectively with potential new customers to understand their truck repair and servicing needs.
- Visit potential customers to present our range of truck repair and servicing solutions, addressing any inquiries or concerns they may have.
- Follow up on leads and inquiries promptly and professionally to nurture relationships and convert prospects into customers.
- Collaborate with internal teams, including technicians and service personnel, to ensure seamless coordination and delivery of truck repairs and servicing.
- Proactively identify and address customer issues, providing timely resolutions to enhance customer satisfaction.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date customer records, ensuring all interactions are properly documented.
- Stay informed about industry trends, new technologies, and competitors’ offerings to identify business opportunities.
- Represent the company at industry events, trade shows, and networking functions to expand the customer base and enhance brand visibility.
- Conduct regular customer satisfaction surveys and utilize feedback to improve our truck repair and servicing offerings.
Requirements:
- Previous experience in customer relations or a similar role, preferably within the trucking industry or automotive sector.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage effectively with customers and internal stakeholders.
- Proven ability to build and maintain strong customer relationships.
- Knowledge or experience in the field of truck repairs and servicing.
- Self-motivated with a proactive approach to identifying and pursuing business opportunities.
- Strong problem-solving skills to address customer issues promptly and effectively.
- Valid driver’s license, with a truck license being highly regarded.
- Ability to travel to visit potential and existing customers as needed.
- Familiarity with CRM software and other relevant tools.
- A strong commitment to delivering exceptional customer service.
- Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and work in a fast-paced environment.
- Note: This role does not include sales commission.
