Assistant Accountant required for Diversified ASX listed business working within a small team in Eastern Creek

Our client a medium sized diversified business that is across Australia and New Zealand which was established more than 30 years ago and is growing organically as well as via acquisition requires an assistant accountant to join the team located in Eastern Creek.
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Assistant Accountant with a can do attitude that is willing to learn to join a business that has some interesting and challenging projects ahead.
Reporting to the Finance Manager you will be responsible for:
– Financial Management to trial balance
– Journal Postings
– Balance Sheet Recs
– Project Accounting
– Cash Flow forecasting
– Supporting the AP/AR team as well as the Finance manager and technology accountant
The ideal candidate:
– Will have tertiary qualifications in accounting or studying towards
– An excellent problem solver
– Ability to show initiative
– Able to work to deadlines
