Our Client who is a leader in their field seeks an experienced and motivated Customer Service Officer to join their team in Christchurch, New Zealand.

The successful candidate will need to have experience working with an ERP system and Microsoft office suite of programmes, be able to work autonomously, experience in a medium to fast paced environment and have great verbal and written communication skills. 

Experience in industrial customer service or manufacturing is highly desired!

Duties include 

  • Develop and maintain a customer communication process that enables customers to be advised of any late orders prior to delivery
  • Respond to all customer queries, either via telephone or email in a timely and professional manner
  • Maintain relationships with internal stakeholders i.e. Estimators Team, Sales Team, Warehouse Team, Purchasing Team
  • Maintain customer records (including opening of new Customer Account Applications)
  • Initiate and maintain regular contact with customers to build and strengthen relationships to secure businesses
  • Manage order process and clear roadblocks and escalate issues to facilitate team performance
